We are currently recruiting for Ecologists with experience in land management operations and best practices to join a UK Government Department for a rolling contract, starting in 3 months + potential extensions in Salisbury.

Must be eligible for SC Clearance. Candidates with active SC clearance will benefit from a quicker start date.

Essential experience:

• Experience in land management operations and best practices
• Ability to facilitate effective land use for trials and operations
• Knowledge of legislation to protect species habitats & ecosystems, including the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017, and Environment Act 2021
• Experience maintaining Sites of Scientific Special Interest, Special Protection Areas, and Special Areas of Conservation
• Desirable: understanding of Defence procedures or previous work in a defence environment
