An established industry player is seeking dynamic ecologists to join their growing team in the Midlands. This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects across various sectors while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. With flexible hybrid working arrangements, you can choose how and where you work, ensuring high-quality client service. You'll collaborate with over 50 ecologists and other technical experts, benefiting from a supportive culture that encourages professional growth through training and mentorship. If you're ready to make a meaningful impact in the field of ecology, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Are you an ecologist with a desire to put your expertise to good use across a range of projects with the support of an experienced team? Are you ambitious to develop your technical skills and career in line with a defined career pathway? Do you want to find a work/life balance despite the nocturnal nature of bat work?
As Tetra Tech builds on its track record as a leading global environmental consultancy, we are seeking ecologists of all levels to strengthen our expertise in the Midlands. With ambitions to expand our UK presence, we are looking for dynamic ecologists to join our network of over 50 ecologists.
We work closely with colleagues from planning, placemaking, engineering, transportation, and asset management teams, supporting opportunities from identification through to project delivery. You will develop relationships across the business, liaising with the ecology team and other technical teams at all project stages.
Our consultancy offers advice across sectors including residential, defence, energy, government services, and transport, leveraging the knowledge of our technical experts to develop optimal solutions.
Projects will primarily be in the East Midlands, including Lincolnshire and East Anglia. We operate flexible, hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to choose where, how, and when you work, provided high-quality client service is maintained. Some site work and collaboration with colleagues and clients will be required, possibly involving time in an office or alternative workspace.
We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, including reduced or compressed hours and flexible start or finish times, to support your work/life balance. If the timing isn't right now, we welcome you to get in touch to discuss future opportunities.
Tetra Tech is an equal opportunities employer, encouraging applications from all qualified candidates regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, disability, transgender status, belief, marital status, or parental leave, in line with the Equalities Act 2010.
