The company offers specialist services in Environmental Coordination of Highways and Infrastructure projects, Environmental Impact Assessment, landscape and ecological management, and more. RML actively supports client teams on-site with practical advice and is involved in joint ventures for various projects.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Principal Ecologist at RML located in Denbighshire with the option for some remote work. The Principal Ecologist will be a team leader responsible for managing and conducting fieldwork, PEA, report writing, protected species (mainly bats), Ecological Impact Assessments, BNG and working with other development professionals on various projects.

Qualifications

• Wildlife, Field Work, Protected Species
• Experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and Report Writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and guidelines
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
• Suitable professional memberships would also be beneficial
