Ecologist

Location: Leeds

Salary: £25,000 - £33,000

Pebble Recruitment are currently representing a well-established Environmental Consultancy who have been operating since 2005. Actively seeking an ambitious Ecologist to join their new office based in Leeds. Our client has grown rapidly and now provides a variety of services to clients. Their spike in recruitment stems from their glowing reputation within the industry, which has resulted in them having a healthy pipeline of both repeat and new business. Particular interest in Botany and BNG would be an advantage!

The successful Ecologist will work closely alongside the ecology team in and around Leeds, conducting protected species surveys.

Ecologist Position Overview

  1. Undertaking protected species surveys
  2. Producing technical reports (PEA and PRA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.)
  3. Managing small-medium sized projects, with support from senior management

Ecologist Position Requirements

  1. 3+ years of industry experience
  2. Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
  3. Hold a full UK driving license
  4. Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) is preferred

Ecologist Position Remuneration

  1. Competitive salary, ranging between £25,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
  2. 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and the opportunity to buy more
