Consultant Ecologist or Senior Ecologist
Location: Guildford
Salary: £27,000 - £40,000

Pebble Recruitment are currently representing a well-established Environmental Consultancy, who are actively seeking an ambitious Ecologist or Senior Ecologist to join their ever-growing team covering Guildford and the Southeast. Our client has grown rapidly and now provides a variety of services to clients. The successful Ecologist or Senior Ecologist will work closely alongside the ecology team around Guildford and the Southeast, but they mainly send you to sites close to where you live.

Ecologist Position Overview

1. Undertaking protected species surveys
2. Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.)
3. Managing medium to large-sized projects
4. Leading surveys and teams / managing teams

Ecologist Position Requirements

1. 3 years + of industry experience
2. Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
3. Minimum of 1 protected species licence (preferred)
4. Hold a full UK driving license
5. Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the understanding of how to apply them correctly
6. Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management is preferred

Ecologist Position Remuneration

1. Competitive salary, ranging between £27,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
2. 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays and the opportunity to buy more
