Location: Derby

Salary: £32,000 - £41,000

Ecologist Position Overview

• Undertaking protected species surveys
• Assisting with tenders and creating quotations
• Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.)
• Managing small to medium-sized projects, with assistance on larger projects as needed

Ecologist Position Requirements

• 3-8+ years of industry experience
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
• One protected species license
• Full UK driving license
• Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and its application
• Chartered status with the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management is preferred

Ecologist Position Remuneration

• Competitive salary between £32,000 - £41,000 depending on experience
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, with options to buy additional days
