A leading company in habitat restoration is seeking an Ecologist for maternity cover. This role involves managing small-scale Habitat Bank projects, conducting ecological surveys, and liaising with landowners to promote biodiversity. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant degree and possess strong ecological survey skills.
Length of tenure: 14 months maternity cover
Located: WFH but we would like the candidate to live around Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £30-40K

About the role
As an Ecologist you will play a key role securing, creating and monitoring EBs network of sites across England with a particular focus in your defined geographical region. This will involve a wide range of responsibilities supported by experienced ecologists and the wider project delivery team. You will progress candidate sites, undertake desk studies and liaise with landowners to arrange and carry out site walkover visits, initial site designs and start the process of creating large scale nature recovery projects - Habitat Banks.
We are looking for candidates who are in Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire.
