Job summary

Yordas Group in Lancaster, UK, is seeking an Eco (toxicologist)/Risk Assessment Expert to support REACH, Biocides, Cosmetics, Med Devices and Food Contact regulations. The role involves advising on human health exposure and risk and coordinating with partners and CROs to deliver compliant assessments.

The successful candidate will work with clinicians and chemists, contribute to risk reports, stay updated on regulatory toxicology and actively participate in seminars and training sessions.

Qualifications

• MSc/PharmD/PhD in biology or health science with toxicology focus.
• Knowledge of CHESAR and exposure models.
• Regulatory toxicology knowledge focusing on hazard, exposure and risk.
• Experience with hazard classification (CLP/GHS) and REACH.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Perform (eco)toxicological safety assessments under REACH, BPR and Cosmetics regulations via exposure models.
• Commission and monitor physico-chemical and environmental studies with CROs to meet timelines and quality.
• Carry out quantitative exposure and risk assessments using CHESAR or similar platforms.
• Review toxicity information, regulatory guidance documents and regulations.
• Prepare final chemical safety reports for REACH, BPR and Cosmetics regulations.
