Job summary

Yordas Group in Lancaster, UK is seeking an (Eco)toxicologist / Risk Assessment Expert to support REACH, Biocides and Health Care products. You will provide expert advice on human health exposure and risk to internal and external experts, collaborating with partners and CROs to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include performing safety assessments under REACH and Cosmetics regulations, coordinating studies with CROs, and developing final risk assessment reports.

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in Biology, Environmental Science, Health Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge of regulatory toxicology concepts and hazard assessment.
• Experience with EU REACH, Biocides, Cosmetics or Medical Devices.
• Proficient with exposure and risk assessment methods.
• Strong communication to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform eco/toxicological safety assessments under REACH and related regulations.
• Coordinate studies with CROs to meet timelines and quality.
• Apply exposure models (e.g., CHESAR) for risk simulations.
• Summarise safety reports for regulatory submission.
• Engage with clients and internal teams on regulatory strategy.
