We currently have an opportunity for Casual Hospitality Managers to join our amazing team at Preston North End Football Club.

We are looking for outstanding customer-focused individuals to join a world-leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Deepdale is a prestigious footballing venue, home to Preston North End and steeped in history. The Lilywhites' home ground holds the privileged title of being the oldest professional footballing site in the world in continuous use.

While many sides have shifted about from spot to spot in their short or long-term history, Preston North End have remained loyal to the piece of turf in PR1, making it their home since 21st January 1875 when the club's members first took out a lease on the land.

In 2004, the famous ‘The Splash’ statue was built to honour Sit Tom Finney, the club’s most famous former player, which now sits proudly outside of ‘The Gentry Bar’, PNE’s new fan zone.

Role Responsibilities
  • Attend pre-match managers briefings and participate in required training according to legislation and company standards.
  • Monitor staff work practices to ensure efficiency and productivity, adhering to company policies, with reference to responsibilities and job descriptions.
  • Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure all food products are serviced according to specified timings.
  • Work in compliance with Food Allergen information and service procedures.
  • Ensure bar and floor staff are attentive to guest needs, working promptly to minimize wait times.
  • Welcome guests, take orders, and serve beverages.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and deliver an excellent client service experience.
  • Serve guests in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Handle customer and staff complaints effectively and efficiently.
  • Actively upsell products to maximize revenue.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Friendly yet professional demeanor.
  • Good attention to detail and punctuality.
  • Experience in hospitality, catering, or bar settings.
  • Experience in team management.
  • Experience with cash handling and stock control.
  • Applicants must be 18 or over.
Package Details

Must be able to handle alcoholic beverages.

£17 per hour

Casual hours, including Matchday and Non-Matchday events.
