Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical tasks to keep the nation's infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Assign tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  • Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  • Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.

Who you are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
