Interim Contracts Manager - NEC £600pd

Role: Contracts Manager - NEC

Client: Cutting-edge Renewable Energy organisation

Day Rate: £600 per day

Location: Hybrid working and in Berkshire

An exciting Interim opportunity to join a fast-paced Renewable Energy organisation, to support on cutting-edge projects for the design, construction and installation of Solar, Wind and Battery Energy Storage infrastructure.

This role will be a key player in their roll-out of NEC contract form, driven by the EPC Director. You will draft NEC contracts, working closely with the Project Managers to support scope and delivery of pre and post contract award management.

You will set strategy, negotiate and drive the execution of contracts for EPC equipment (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).

Requirements:

• Senior Commercial Contracts experience.
• Ideally, confidence in drafting NEC contracts, will also consider JCT or FIDIC.
• Strong Infrastructure / Construction contracts experience, within a multi-project, multi-discipline environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement ability, with the gravitas to present convincingly and achieve buy-in from Directors.
• Advantageous would be any Energy, Construction, Solar PV or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) experience.
