Furniture Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operative

Salary - £12 - £13

Pavilion Broadway - A fast growing furniture retailer supplying high quality furniture across the UK.

Thanks to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our hard working team as a Furniture Delivery Driver.

Drivers are a valued and essential part of our business; responsible for ensuring our customers get their products on time, with excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver and install new furniture in our customers' homes using Luton vehicles.
  2. Work as part of a two-person delivery team undertaking multiple deliveries each day.
  3. Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a high level of safety and service at all times.
  4. Maintain up-to-date and accurate product knowledge to assist in the installation of all products.
  5. Work from our large warehouse when not on the road, including receiving stock, processing online orders, and unloading containers.

Requirements:

  1. Clean driver's license required.
  2. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
  3. Previous experience on a forklift is preferable but not essential.
  4. Willingness to work long days, starting at 7am and finishing when the job is complete.
  5. Understanding and acceptance of the need to work extra hours if necessary.
