The Growth Company's Justice Services is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Group Delivery/Trainer within our Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) Evolution Programme. This role is pivotal in providing advice, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and support to participants through regular one-on-one meetings and group interventions. Our mission is to help hard-to-reach individuals prepare for engagement with core prison services and their eventual release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resettlement Support: Provide continuous support to participants to aid their reintegration.
- Engagement and Case Management: Manage and engage participants on the CFO Evolution Wing.
- Group Sessions: Deliver high-quality, engaging group sessions to encourage attendance and completion of activities.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and monitor participants' progress to ensure high attendance, achievement rates, and progression.
- Feedback and Development: Offer structured feedback and set development objectives for participants.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with HMPPS and other agencies providing ongoing and pre-release support.
About You:- Experience: Ideally, you have experience working with offenders or individuals marginalized from mainstream services in training, guidance, advice, and counseling settings.
- Guidance Skills: You are proficient in delivering high-quality one-to-one and group sessions, meeting at least Grade 2 standards.
- Interpersonal Skills: You possess a warm, approachable, and empathetic style, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships that support participants' progression to education, training, and employment, and facilitate desistance from crime.
Skills Required:- Qualifications: Information Advice and Guidance and/or teaching qualifications (or equivalent) are preferred.
- Experience: Extensive experience working closely with individuals to support their progression is crucial.
- Rehabilitation Knowledge: Understanding of issues affecting offender rehabilitation and desistance theory.
- Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with National Probation Services or HM Prison environments, as well as local and national training, education, and employment opportunities.
