Seeking a Property Accountant for an 8-month contract within a Real Estate business based in Central London. Looking for a candidate with a strong background in service charge accounting experience across large commercial businesses.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the maintenance of complex service charge calculations, including net internal area and density calculations.
Preparation of service charge budgets and calculation of service charges for tenants.
Reviewing service charge expenditure and investigating variances against budget, handling forecasting adjustments if required and presenting data at budget meetings with budget holders.
Communicating effectively with all relevant parties to ensure timely delivery of monthly reports.
Assist with system development and process automation of service charges.
Review Tenant and Landlord Recovery account and reconcile monthly.
Quarterly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and assisting the Financial Controller in presenting financial results to Group Finance on a quarterly basis.
Requirements:
5 years in a service charge accounting background.
Part-Qualified accountant or studying (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) is preferred.
Possess good communication skills.
