Business Analyst | Banking

Location: Manchester
Contract: 6 Months Contract with possible extensions
Pay Rate: £650/day Inside IR35
Hybrid: 2 days in office per week, 3 days WFH
Sector: Financial Services

Our Retail Banking client is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join and assist an established team orchestrating customer journey, with a focus on technology amongst other aspects. You will be responsible for understanding and optimising the end-to-end customer experience (internal and external) to ensure the needs of the customer remain at the forefront of all journeys. You will analyse data structure, lineage & dependencies, and perform data mapping to classify data sources across legacy and new systems, track data movement from source to storage, and execute data cleansing & transformation.

Required Technical Knowledge:
  1. Backup & recovery solutions
  2. Dell Data Protection Suite
  3. Legacy backup solution
  4. Structured SQL, relational DBs, file systems
  5. Cloud storage, data management
Required Essential Skills and Experience:
  1. Similar previous experience within Financial Services is highly beneficial
  2. Strong Business Analyst skills / data governance
  3. Data management
  4. Previous experience with Legacy platform
  5. Understanding of end-to-end journeys
  6. Problem solving in ambiguous environment
  7. Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  8. Stakeholder management, internal and external
  9. Ability to work ambiguously and problem solve in a fast-paced environment

Locations: Edinburgh
Contract: 6 Months (possible extension)
