Job description

Job title:Security Supplier Assurance Practitioner

Location:Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements

Salary:£41,361

What you’ll be doing:

  • Producing Security Aspects Letters (SALs) Letters for the FCAS programme, in line with the agreed business process
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to accurately identify and document releasable information to our supply chain, ensuring compliance with the Need-to-Know principle and protecting sensitive data
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure that SALs are understood and requirements met, or agreeing Cyber Implementation Plans (CIPs)
  • Ensuring records are kept up-to-date, SALs are properly managed, supplier risk assessments are completed and suppliers prioritised for assurance activities
  • Visiting suppliers as necessary to audit security controls against the requirements in the SALs and review the security culture and posture of the business
  • Taking ownership of relationships and compliance of allocated suppliers, becoming a reliable and trusted security PoC to allow for questions, provide guidance and encourage early reporting of any security incidents
  • Working with colleagues in the wider FCAS Security teams, providing security advice and guidance to the business and external stakeholders

Your skills and experiences:

  • Hands on experience with auditing
  • Working within a highly regulated environment
  • Proficient with full MS package
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholder and maintaining relationships
  • Have a background within IT or cyber security would be beneficial

FCAS Security Supplier Assurance Team:

Working within the FCAS Security Supplier Assurance Team, you will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of the Security Supplier Assurance programme, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to assess risk in the supply chain, ensure information being released into the supply chain is done so in accordance with mandatory/customer requirements and performing assurance activities to verify the security standards upheld by suppliers.
