Job description

MRICS / FRICS Commercial / Mixed use Valuation Surveyors – Senior – Director level - Home working – Hiring in Peterborough / Cambridge.

My client is an experienced team of around seven professionals conducting Commercial and Residential valuation work across London, England, and Wales.

Established over 10 years ago, they have a strong presence in the secured lending sector. They do not have plans for further expansion but aim to maintain their current success. They are looking to hire following the retirement of one of their surveyors.

Future equity opportunities are available; two current surveyors have recently been granted equity, earning approximately £100,000 - £140,000 per annum including commission.

You would handle a variety of valuation assignments, including HMO, portfolio, mixed-use, development (partly complete and ground-up), offices, and retail. Currently, they do not undertake valuations of a trading nature.

Offering:

• Basic salary: £65,000 - £70,000; OTE £100,000 - £110,000 approximately (further details to be confirmed)
• Bonus scheme paid monthly based on invoicing: £500 if £15,000 in fees is reached, plus 15% of amounts invoiced over £15,000. Senior surveyors typically invoice over £30,000 monthly, resulting in a bonus around £2,750 per month or £33,000 annually. Total package expected to be around £100,000.

Additional information:

• Home working five days a week, site visits daily
• Standard SLA: 3-5 working days from inspection; up to ten days for complex cases
• No VAS Panel work
• Reporting software: their own version of Valos, completing 80% of reports
• Client liaison and booking managed by their experienced admin team
• Average commercial valuation fee: £1,300 - £1,500 per report
• Opportunities for career progression and promotions for suitable candidates
• Admin team handles file setup, document collection, commissioning, title plan downloads, report pre-sets, inspections, report compilation, and invoicing
