Purpose of the role

We require an experienced property/business agent to join our Childcare & Education Team. Our team are market leaders and in this buoyant, needs driven and consolidating market, we seek to appoint an agent in our London office to further grow our team, support more clients and gain further market share. You will be directly responsible for sourcing and transacting childcare and education businesses, covering North London, Suffolk and the Kent region. You will generate leads to sell, process instructions and manage deals to completion. You will identify, contact and qualify buyers. You will be client facing and will be the first point of contact in any sale and also be dealing with buyers and applicants across this region.

About the team

Our award-winning childcare and education team are an experienced, collaborative and supporting group of 11 colleagues providing nationwide coverage from our childcare hubs in Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and London. Their expertise spans across a wide range of Childcare & Education businesses that care and educate children from birth to 19 years. The team is most well-known for their day nursery sector transactional activity, but they also work closely with clients across the independent school, children’s social care and SEND – special educational needs and disabilities business property markets.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Focus on growing our brokerage activity in the childcare and education markets across the North London, Suffolk and the Kent region.
  • Generate relationships and develop new business, winning agency mandates across these markets, through various prospecting methods.
  • Register and maintain client requirements on our Salesforce CRM system
  • Liaise closely with sector team colleagues in securing, listing, marketing and managing opportunities for sale
  • Negotiate and agree deals, manage lawyers and the sale process
  • Provide regular client updates on instruction activity

What we are looking for

The suitable candidate for this role would bring:

  • Previous experience within commercial or residential Estate Agency business; Essential
  • Proven track record/experience in sales; Essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Essential
  • High standard of customer service; Essential
  • UK Driver’s licence and confident with driving long distances; Essential
