Reporting to: Head of Funded Learning

External Relationships: Funding Bodies, Delivery Partner Organisations

Internal Relationships: Funding team, Planning Team, Operations, Compliance

Scope:

Your role will be to ensure the viability of training delivery and to help maximize funding drawdown from our funded learning contracts.

You will work closely with the Head of Funded Learning during the bid stage, then take on the projects at contract award. You will guide projects through their mobilisation phase and maintain some involvement during delivery to maximize funding drawdown.

This is a broad role suitable for a person adept at multi-tasking, dealing with internal and external stakeholders, and prioritizing their time effectively. You will need to develop innovative solutions for projects and be persuasive in overcoming barriers, with the flexibility to try different approaches.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this role are divided into specific categories.

Contract mobilisation: You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring due diligence for new contracts is completed, working with the Compliance team to ensure all documentation is returned on time.
• Collaborating with partners (e.g., Colleges, Clients, Training Providers), Hotels, or our Operations team to enable course delivery in suitable facilities.
• Providing initial briefings to our Marketing Team to ensure learner and B2B enquiries are generated.

Contract delivery: You will be responsible for:

• Liaising with the Marketing Team to ensure new courses are set up within our booking system.
• Working with the Planning Team to ensure sufficient instructor and course space capacity for monthly and contractual targets.

Reporting:

• You will maintain our project planning tool (currently the Planner App within Microsoft Teams), including setting up tasks, holding internal teams accountable, and reporting on project completion, timelines, and blockers.
• You must stay aware of upcoming contracts and operational details, including the remaining funding available for drawdown.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Each contract will have a training start point, for example, 8 weeks from project award, depending on complexity.
• Your responsibility is to ensure the team maximizes drawdown by providing sufficient training spaces for colleagues to book learners onto.
