A leading council in North Lanarkshire is seeking a part-time Sports Coach specializing in Dance. The role involves delivering engaging dance programs aimed at improving health and wellbeing among participants, particularly children. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team, responsible for planning and executing high-quality sessions. Salary: £27,301 - £29,180 per year pro rata

Based within our venues in North Lanarkshire, you will work within our Sports Development Team, to support and assist in the development and delivery of sports activity programmes throughout North Lanarkshire. In this role, you will focus on supporting users of our dance classes.
The overall aim of the dance programme is to provide a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience where participants can develop and learn various dance styles. The objectives are to improve participants' health and wellbeing and to promote increased participation in dance across North Lanarkshire, including helping children participate in annual shows.
You must possess a relevant qualification in a dance or sport discipline. As part of a strong, established team of coaches, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering sports activities. You should be a dynamic and experienced sports coach who can inspire young people to achieve their potential and deliver high-quality sessions.
Note: Successful candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland.
