Position: Full Time Fixed Term (Maternity Cover until 5th December 2025)

In collaboration with the Integrated Drugs Team, our service offers recovery-focused support on an individual and family basis. We adopt a strengths-based approach to overcoming barriers to recovery, promoting self-management, resilience, and positive community engagement.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have lived experience of substance use and mental health challenges. You will inspire hope and demonstrate that recovery is achievable by sharing your story and supporting others with tools and techniques to enhance health and wellbeing. You will build genuine relationships, use your unique insights to address barriers, and help plan next steps.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a recovery champion within the team and as an ambassador of recovery externally.
  • Contribute to the development of peer roles and help reduce stigma related to mental health issues.
  • Support the wellbeing of staff and promote a positive, inclusive environment.
