Job description

A leading manufacturing business based in Rochdale (with hybrid working) are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team. This role presents an engaging opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where your expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, and operations will be highly valued. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the overall performance of the operations by combining analysis, reporting, and hands-on application within various departments.

Your excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively will be key in liaising with different department heads. If you are a dependable problem solver with exceptional attention to detail, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the role:
  • Deep understanding of all Supply Chain activities such as planning processes, Inventory Management, Supply Issues Management and Integrated Planning.
  • Liaise with site leads to gather required information for critical KPIs and corrective actions.
  • Create monthly Supply Chain KPI MBR report, preparation for business reviews, analyse gaps vs target as well as define actions in cooperation with wider supply chain teams.
  • Owns Inventory management according to Inventory Management guidelines.
  • Analyse the processes that affect the projection of inventory value and deals with the design of parameters in the inventory level control process.
You will have:
  • Ideally degree qualified or overseas equivalent.
  • Previous hands-on experience working within a supply chain/planning role with an analytical mindset.
  • Previous experience using SAP would be preferable.
  • Excellent Excel skills and Power BI skills.
