The Team:
The Emergency Department team at Launceston General Hospital (LGH), part of the Department of Health Tasmania, comprises highly skilled emergency physicians, nurses, paramedics, and support staff dedicated to providing urgent and life-saving care. They utilize advanced medical protocols to assess, stabilize, and treat patients with acute conditions, from trauma to medical emergencies. The Role:
Provide effective and efficient clerical and reception support to medical and nursing staff in the direct patient contact area of the Emergency Department.

Details of appointment:
Multiple permanent, full-time, and part-time shift positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed date. Hours are negotiable.
Applicants should note that, for twelve months from the date of publication, this process may be used to fill similar vacancies.
Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum (pro-rata). Employer superannuation contribution of 11.5% is additional.
Salary Packaging:
Access salary packaging benefits including living expenses up to $9,010, $2,650 in meal entertainment annually, and other benefits if eligible.
