Students learn English whilst immersing themselves in the local culture and surroundings. Our programmes are a combination of language classes, exciting excursions and fun-filled sporting, creative and social activities.

The Centre Manager inspires, motivates, and leads an entire school of staff, leaders, and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
  2. Manage, lead, and inspire a team of colleagues dedicated to students’ development and welfare.
  3. Maximise student and group leader satisfaction by ensuring their experience meets or exceeds expectations.
  4. Ensure the centre operates to the highest standards of relevant Health & Safety, safeguarding.
  5. Ensure the programme runs within the pre-determined budgets in consultation with the supporting Programme Manager or Head Office teams.
  6. Overseeing the submission of all centre administration.
  7. Provide regular centre updates to the supporting Programme Manager.

Specific duties include:

  1. Training and inspiring the centre teams.
  2. Conducting assemblies and inductions for students and Group leaders.
  3. Conducting staff and Group leader meetings.
  4. Overseeing staff performance and behaviour and ensuring that staff demonstrate and adhere to safe and healthy working practices at all times.
  5. Liaising with the Recruitment Team to ensure staffing is at maximum capacity and staffing issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  6. Creating staff rotas and ensuring employee contracted hours are adhered to and additional hours recorded weekly.
  7. Ensuring accuracy of all staff working hours for payroll purposes.
  8. Reviewing completed Meal provision forms and Occupancy record forms prior to weekly submission to the host centre.
  9. Supporting the Activity Management team.
  10. Supporting the Academic Management team.
  11. Supporting the Welfare and Accommodation team.
  12. Ensuring all management teams receive completed feedback in a timely manner.
  13. Overseeing Student arrivals and departures procedures are in place and adhered to.
  14. Managing a positive working relationship with all stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Educated to Degree level or equivalent/or working towards.
  2. Safeguarding Level 1 and 2.

Experience required:

  1. Experience working with juniors.
  2. Experience in a role involving organisation/logistics/travel.

  2. Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  3. Ability to understand and manipulate data accurately.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Week:

6 days out of 7 (1 day off per week)

All management roles are residential.

Remuneration:

Weekly pay up to: £1,100
(inclusive of holiday pay)
