Job Title: Software Development Trainer (Level 4 Apprenticeships)

Location - Fully remote

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Software Development Trainer to join a rapidly growing Digital Apprenticeship provider.

Your role will involve delivering training to Level 4 Software apprentices, guiding them through practical, real-world learning to build confidence and skills in full-stack development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver training sessions and modules to Level 4 Software Development apprentices, covering front-end and back-end development.
• Teach core programming concepts using Java and related languages.
• Assist learners in understanding the software development lifecycle, debugging, testing, version control, and deployment.
• Maintain current technical skills and stay updated with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers to enhance course content based on learner feedback and industry trends.

What We're Looking For

• Experience delivering software development training in an Apprenticeship, Bootcamp, FE, or HE setting (Trainer, Instructor, Coach, Teacher, Lecturer, Tutor, Training Consultant, Mentor, Educator).
• Hands-on experience with Java or similar programming languages.
• Good understanding of full-stack development, including familiarity with front-end frameworks, databases, APIs, and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge or experience with AWS is a plus but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly.
• A passion for helping individuals develop their skills and careers.

This is a fully remote position with a salary range of £45,000 to £50,000.

Salary is negotiable for more experienced Trainers/Educators.
