A leading company in Devon and Torbay is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to provide first-level support for accounting software. The ideal candidate will excel in problem-solving and communication, and will enjoy a flexible working environment with opportunities for career progression.
In this role, the successful candidate will work as part of a team providing first-level customer support for customers (mainly accounting practices) using our CCH Personal Tax and CCH Corporation tax software. This role involves resolving product issues via phone, Support Portal, or web chat.
The ideal candidate will be a confident, determined self-starter with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. We value quick learners who enjoy resolving challenging situations. You will have the flexibility to work in an environment that encourages initiative, with the authority to make decisions. You will need to learn and support multiple software products. While specific application and IT skills are important, a commitment to excellent customer service, taking initiative, and working with a strong team ethic are equally essential. You will be supported by colleagues across the team to help you learn the products and systems.
