Job Title: Project Handover Manager

Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)

Service Area: O&M, Service Delivery

Hours of Work: 37 Per week, Permanent Contract

What You’ll be doing:

With a busy project delivery programme ahead, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Handover Manager to join our Service Delivery Team. You will support the successful delivery of projects and ensure their smooth transition into service.

The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring Service Delivery supports project delivery through design and construction phases, providing access to all necessary information and resources for operating and maintaining new assets prior to project handover. You will also facilitate the transition from construction to service, ensuring Service Delivery has details of asset warranties and contact information for warranty issues. Additionally, you will produce monthly management reports on the utilisation of Service Delivery resources and manage project remedial works.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A HNC/HND/BTec Level 4/5 or above in an engineering discipline or similar experience.
• Experience managing the handover of building/construction works, either as a contractor or from a client’s perspective, with exposure to delivering change.
• Experience in managing the operation and maintenance of buildings in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency with computer-based systems, including Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems, and comfortable with preparing cost information.
