Job summary

The University of Edinburgh invites applications for up to three ECAT Clinical Lectureships in the College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine. This full-time fixed-term post supports the Wellcome-funded ECAT programme, with a lead-in year and potential for continued academic activity and clinical practice.

Successful candidates will be GMC-registered, hold or be eligible for an NTN in Scotland, and have a track record in basic, translational or clinical research.

Qualifications

• Must be GMC-registered and practicing clinically in the UK.
• Must have or obtain a specialty training position with a National Training Number (NTN) in Scotland.
• UK NTN holders may apply but inter-deanery transfer may be necessary.
• Must have relevant clinical experience in chosen specialty.
• Must be eligible for higher specialist clinical training.
