Job summary

The University of Edinburgh invites applications for up to three ECAT Clinical Lectureships within the College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine. This full-time post (40 hours per week) is fixed-term to CCT date plus six months, with a lead-in year funded at 0.2 FTE and ongoing support for PhD development.

Candidates must be GMC-registered with a National Training Number in Scotland, be practicing clinically in the UK, and have relevant clinical experience; NTN transfer may be required.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered and practising in the UK.
• Must have a National Training Number (NTN) in Scotland or be eligible for NTN transfer.
• Eligible for higher specialist clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Develop a competitive PhD fellowship application for institutional or external funding.
• Contribute to supervision and research training within the ECAT programme.
• Engage in clinical work and research activities aligned with the SCREDS scheme.
