This is an initial 6-month contract with a great opportunity to be taken on permanently as the organisation continues to expand their workforce.

The Role

We are currently looking for an individual to join the night cleaning team who are tasked with ensuring the trains meet a high standard of cleanliness before resuming daily services. This will involve full interior cleaning with tasks including mopping, hoovering and touch point cleaning as part of the interior cleaning team at Heaton depot.

The shift hours are 2000-0600 on a five-on-four off or four-on-five off roster pattern basis. Full flexibility is required as your shifts may fall on the weekend. Overtime will be available at the discretion of management team.

Pay Rate & Benefits

The pay rate for the night shift train cleaner position will be at £13.05 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.

About You

1. Ideally, you will be experienced within a vehicle/industrial or house cleaning environment.
2. You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a clean and safe environment for customers.

Training is provided covering depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. Work is undertaken in a safety critical environment so you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
