A global climate risk and analytics provider is looking to hire a Model Risk Manager to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to contribute to a business making purposeful impact related to climate change.

In this role, you will work alongside an interdisciplinary science team comprising climate scientists, hazard specialists, and data scientists. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that model risk controls are embedded throughout the model lifecycle, supporting the oversight and governance of the model risk management framework, and monitoring model risk controls.

The ideal candidate has a background in quant or actuarial sciences, with exposure to model validation. An understanding of climate modelling and strong problem-solving skills are essential. A passion for addressing climate change is highly advantageous.
