Job Description:

One of the largest councils in the South East is currently recruiting for a senior leadership position: Interim Executive Director of Climate, Environment & Customer Service. This role involves leading and overseeing the Climate, Environment & Customer Service Directorate. It is a critical position requiring someone with experience at the Executive Director level, with extensive leadership in areas such as:

  • Climate
  • Highways/Transport
  • Customer Services

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial focus, senior local government experience with significant corporate leadership, and a proven track record of driving major change and transformation, including engaging with members.

Extensive leadership experience in relevant service areas is essential.

Experience in leading major change and transformation is required.

Pay range and compensation package:

The role offers approximately £1,300 per day with hybrid working arrangements.
