An exciting opportunity has arisen in Theatres at Day Surgery Unit at St. Richards, we are looking for a dynamic band 5 recovery practitioner to join our busy theatre team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post holder will provide clinical support within this area, ensuring an effective support of colleagues to plan, monitor and evaluate skills in the delivery of appropriate care for perioperative patients.

Provide a quality service with responsibility for patient safety and standards of care, ensuring the provision of evidence-based care by being a role model providing specialist knowledge within theatre practice.

You will work as part of a team supporting and developing colleagues by mentoring, assessing their skills, and being a preceptor to newly qualified staff as appropriate.

  • Must have relevant qualification and be registered with HCPC or NMC
Current UK work permit/Visa/resident
  • Is able to work in the UK and has relevant visa
