Early Careers Assistant at a Prestigious International Law Firm

Larbey Evans is working with a prestigious international law firm to recruit an Early Careers Assistant to join their fantastic offices in London on an initial 18-month fixed-term contract.

  • Salary up to £32,000
  • Working hours: 09:30-17:30 with hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days remote)

This role offers scope for creativity and personal development and is ideal for someone early in their career seeking valuable experience in an award-winning HR team, recruiting for Trainee Solicitors, Vacation Scheme Students, and Solicitor Apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with managing the firm’s Winter, Spring, and Summer vacation schemes, including reviewing applications, booking rooms, and coordinating speakers for presentations, workshops, and internal events
  2. Responsible for booking Partners and Senior Associates for Assessment Centres, including handling last-minute replacements
  3. Organise the campus ambassador recruitment process: advertising roles, processing applications, pre-selection, and conducting interviews
  4. Collaborate with Managers and Advisers to promote and outreach to school leavers for Solicitor Apprenticeship Programmes
  5. Manage onboarding processes: issuing offer letters, payroll forms, welcome packs, and coordinating induction days
  6. Attend campus events and law fairs from October to December
  7. Serve as the main point of contact for future joiners’ queries and oversee pre-employment checks
Skills & Requirements:
  1. At least 12 months of office experience; experience in Early Careers recruitment is advantageous
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
