We have an opening for a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager. Because we are in a rural area, please think about how youd be able to get here for work, before applying for the job.

Hours:37.5 hours per week over 5 days. No evenings or split shifts. Weekends required.

Salary:£28,509 per annum

Duration:Permanent

As Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, youll be working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager. Youll be helping to look after the entire operation, which includes a large, diverse team, keeping consistently high standards in the team, in the outlets, and in the food and drink we prepare and serve. Youll always have an eye on ways to improve service and standards for our visitors, staff and volunteers.

You will support the team to help build a great place to work. This could include helping with recruiting and training new people and developing the team. Youll make sure that the team follow all relevant legislation and National Trust policies.

You will be setting and achieving financial targets to increase income and profits. This could be by driving sales through controlling resources and achieving the best possible customer service.

We will give you an induction that fits the job, which may include time spent at another National Trust property. Training in allergens and food safety, compliance plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. You can sign up for further professional training and development from a wide range of courses if you wish.
