Job description

iPeople SC Solutions is recruiting a Senior Carer to work for our client based in Walthamstow, Greater London.

The successful post holder must have management experience as a shift/team leader with CQC knowledge working in a residential care home for older people with dementia.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of care assistants.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs, like blood pressure and heart rate.
  • Complete patient medication records.
  • Develop and lead activities for service users.
  • Keep families up to date about their relative’s progress.
  • Train and mentor new staff.

Requirements:

  • Smart, reliable, with good communication skills.
  • An individual who is confident.
  • Shift lead or run the service and administer medication.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Must have recent training on Safeguarding, Appointed First Aider, Medication, Dementia, etc.
  • Must have been COVID-19 vaccinated.

Hours: 36 hours per week
