Primary Responsibilities
  • Interpret business requirements for features related to specific AXIS modules.
  • Provide technical feedback on client requirements.
  • Analyze and implement solutions, and program new features in AXIS.
  • Design and implement features with wide implications and scope.
  • Investigate and identify root causes for client-reported bugs.
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards.
Other Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise in at least one area of actuarial practice.
  • Participate in Interest Groups and Working Groups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A degree in actuarial science, preferably with a minor in computer science.
  • Working towards IFOA qualification.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design & development; C++ preferred.
  • Experience with development tools such as Visual Studio.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with excellent research capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Good communication skills.
