40 hours per week

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Design Assistant to join the Marketing Team for Brook Taverner – Europe’s leading B2B supplier of corporate clothing.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Marketing Manager and play a crucial role in working with the Marketing Team by creating engaging copy and visually appealing content to support our various marketing campaigns.This role requires a proactive, creative individual with an eye for detail, strong writing skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
MARKETING
• Working with the Marketing Team and Senior Designer to assist with planning our marketing strategy – coming up with ideas for campaigns.
• Copywriting for printed marketing materials, our website and other literature as well as writing text for social media posts and proofreading.
• Design and create visually appealing images and video content for social media, email campaigns, and our website (www.brooktaverner.com), ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Stay updated with social media trends and developments to suggest innovative marketing ideas.
• Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed.
DESIGN
• To collaborate and liaise with the Senior Designer and the Marketing Team to develop design concepts and ideas for various marketing campaigns.
• Create artwork for both print and digital environments.
• Modify and update existing design materials when required.
• Ensure all design materials align with the company's branding guidelines and messaging.
• Photography skills including image retouching desired but not essential.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Traditional/Digital Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in graphic design with a portfolio showcasing creativity and a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc).
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, as well as video editing, is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading.
• Ability to multitask, manage priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
