Job description

Toolmaker

Lincolnshire (A46 / A15 area).

£27,993 - £30,588 + overtime + excellent benefits.

Having been established for over a century, my client is a particularly secure company and market-leader in the manufacture of bearing technologies for a variety of industries. They believe the excellent reputation they have maintained in the marketplace has been built on providing their clients with 'first class' products and the investment they make in their highly skilled workforce.

Due to further strategic expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Toolmaker to join them at their facility in Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manufacture of jigs and fixtures.
  2. Manufacture of test pieces.
  3. Setting and operating CNC and manual machines.
  4. Ensuring processed parts conform to drawings.
  5. Ensuring parts are processed in the allowed time.
  6. Ensuring all documentation is accurate.
  7. Supporting the area in carrying out alternative tasks, as required.
  8. Achieving targets, as identified by Tool Room Management.

Minimum Requirements:
My client is keen to find someone who is an experienced Toolmaker, who ideally possesses an NVQ in Engineering Manufacture (or equivalent). You will have a good eye for detail, be dependable, and work well as part of a team.

In return, my client is offering a salary of £27,993 - £30,588, plus an excellent benefits package including 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank holidays), subsidised health care, personal accident plan, long service award, bike to work scheme, death in service benefit, and a matched pension of 5%. Overtime is also readily available for those who want it.

The role is operating on a permanent day shift, with the hours of work being Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and 7.30am - 12.30pm on a Friday.
