We are seeking an experienced Senior Change Manager to join a central Change practice for this large media client based in London.
This role will focus on driving and managing Change activities across key transformation initiatives. You will lead the change activities on this complex transformation influencing every part of the organisation with a focus on processes, technology, and ways of working.
As a Senior Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering the change strategy across the programme, ensuring the people side of change is central to the transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Change strategy & plan ownership: Lead the development of the overall business change strategy for 2 programmes, ensuring a colleague-centric approach to the deployment of change
Messaging & engagement: Oversee internal messaging and engagement strategies within the business, working collaboratively with peers to ensure a unified approach
Change plan delivery: Manage the delivery of the business change plan, ensuring the programme is delivered on time and within budget, while handling interdependencies and issues within the programme governance
Team leadership: Lead a team to deliver Change, Communications, and Training activities tailored to the impacted teams and roles
Adoption & readiness: Design and manage processes to measure and evaluate the readiness and effectiveness of business change, reacting to feedback and addressing any resistance as necessary
Stakeholder management: Effectively manage stakeholders across the business at various levels, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
Cross-functional collaboration: Build strong relationships with teams such as internal communications and technology to ensure alignment with the wider transformation goals and plans.
Skills needed:
Proven experience leading business change for large-scale transformation programmes within complex organisations
Extensive knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
Demonstrated ability to work closely with and influence senior stakeholders, including Board level executives
Expertise in managing change activities that go beyond top-down mandates, ensuring buy-in and engagement at all levels
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and engage teams across various levels
Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team to deliver multiple change-related activities concurrently
A proactive, resilient, and forward-thinking mindset with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
Experience within a creative or media organisation, particularly in areas like sales, rights, and distribution
