Rate - 400.00 CIS
Job Description:
We are seeking a Site Manager with a strong civil bias and mechanical aptitude to join our team on a sewage treatment works upgrade project near Oxford. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who has experience in the water or utilities sector and is confident working in a live site environment.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing and supporting civil works on-site, including excavation, pipework installation, and concrete structures

  • Assisting with mechanical aspects such as equipment installation, supports, and alignments

  • Working closely with the site manager and subcontractors to ensure project delivery on time and within quality standards

  • Ensuring site health and safety regulations are followed at all times


Requirements:


  • Proven civil engineering experience (preferably in water treatment or utilities)

  • Mechanical skills or experience working alongside mechanical teams

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification - essential

  • CSCS card - essential

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans


Desirable:


  • Experience on AMP (Asset Management Programme) or similar sewage treatment projects

  • Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC, NVQ, or degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering)
