Job description

Connect Appointments is looking for a Vehicle Technician to join an independent German vehicle specialist with over 22 years of experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art workshop with the latest equipment and technology.

Salary: 28,000 to 36,000 + optional overtime

What you'll do?
  • Diagnose vehicle faults using manufacturer-approved diagnostic tools
  • Repair or replace faulty parts using genuine or OEM components
  • Perform routine servicing and maintenance to dealer standards
  • Complete road tests to confirm successful repairs
  • Report any necessary repairs to the garage manager
  • Explain technical issues clearly to customers
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment
  • Work with high-voltage batteries in hybrid and electric vehicles
  • Take part in training courses from BOSCH and MOT training if needed
What you'll need?
  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 qualification preferred - but proven experience will be considered
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • MOT tester qualification preferred (training can be provided)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive and motivated attitude
