We are currently working with a fast-growing connectivity and digital technology start-up, looking to hire a Business Analyst with Project Management experience.

They are a well-known supplier of supplier management and e-procurement software and are dedicated to giving its customers the most user-friendly, streamlined software experience possible. They are currently going through a period of high growth, having increased headcount by 35% this year!

Reason for opening: Expansion due to increased customer demand.

Role Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will support both new and existing clients. You will be in charge of examining company procedures, discovering areas for enhancement, and providing stakeholders with recommendations. The chosen applicant will collaborate extensively with stakeholders to comprehend their needs and demands before using this knowledge to create and carry out client projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering - Engage with stakeholders, such as users, project managers, and technical teams, to understand and document project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
  • Analysis and Documentation - Analyse and document business processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and automation. Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
  • Solution Design - Work closely with development teams to design a solution that meets business requirements. Ensure that proposed solutions align with best practices and industry standards.
  • Project Management - Utilise your project management skills to oversee the execution of SaaS projects. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance - Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria. Ensure that the delivered solutions meet quality standards. Business Analyst | Implementation Technician
  • Change Management - Support change management efforts by assisting in the development of training materials, conducting user training, and facilitating the adoption of new SaaS solutions within the customer organisation.
  • Stakeholder Communication - Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels of the customer organisation. Provide regular project status updates and ensure that expectations are managed appropriately.
Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree in business administration, computer science, or a comparable subject.
  • Experience as a business analyst or similar role.
  • Proven experience in delivering and project managing IT/SaaS projects, preferably in a business analyst role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
