Our client is a renowned multi-disciplinary, global engineering business that have been delivering creative, value-led solutions for over 45 years - focusing on Sustainability, Cities and Infrastructure, Engineering Design, Specialist Consulting and Technology.

They specialise in a range of different sectors, with a presence in 37 locations worldwide.

They are looking to boost their in-house legal team with the support of an experienced In-house Contentious Construction Solicitor to work on Construction Disputes on a hybrid basis from Leeds or Manchester.

Job Description

You'll be expected to:

• advise on corporate governance
• advise the company on contentious matters and provide commercial and legal solutions
• support the business with defending claims and disputes
• liaise with insurers to manage claims and disputes

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone with between 5 - 10 years PQE and expertise in construction law.

Dispute resolution experience and negotiation skills, commercial mindset and ability to work as part of a collaborative team are also essential.

Having worked within the Building and Construction and Engineering industries beneficial.
