Dovehaven Care Homes are recruiting for a Clinical Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Cedar Garden, Tag Lane, Preston. Working DAYS 8am-8pm with every other weekend involved, 33hrs Contract available.

Cedar Garden is a 30-bed dementia specialist, male-only facility. Our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible. Our homes promote independence, dignity, and respect through positive risk-taking and empowerment.


About the Role

As the Clinical Senior Care Assistant, you will manage the care team within the home, ensuring care staff adhere to CQC guidelines while providing exceptional care to residents. You will promote high standards of care and supervise less experienced staff to enable their contribution within the home.


Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Previous experience working in an elderly care setting
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized
  • Team player but able to work independently
  • Dependable, able to work under pressure, flexible to the home's needs
  • Previous supervisory experience in a care/nursing home setting and experience working with the elderly
Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in health & social care is essential, along with a passion for providing exceptional care.
