My client is a specialist financial services business based in Whiteley.
Job Description
The Management Accountant will:
Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and financial commentary.
Manage and mentor junior finance team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Identify and implement process improvements.
Lead the audit process for their respective business unit.
Monitor spend against budget and investigate any variance.
Ensure rigorous financial controls are in place at all times.
Support the group consolidation by providing financial data on a timely and consistent basis.
Undertake ad hoc reporting and analysis tasks.
The Successful Applicant
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Be able to work as part of a team and work from the Whiteley office when required
