NCG is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Apprenticeship Standards Manager to manage apprenticeships at Newcastle College. Role Description
Newcastle College is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified professional to take on the role of Apprenticeship Standards Manager.
The successful candidate will report to the Director of Faculty to support the management of apprenticeships, ensuring performance aligns with Newcastle College and NCG key performance indicators.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background within Further Education, extensive apprenticeship delivery experience, and knowledge of compliance and business development in an apprenticeship setting.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams is essential. Candidates should be qualified to degree level or equivalent in a related subject area, or possess a post-16 teaching qualification, with a commitment to achieve this within an agreed timeframe. Level 2 English and maths qualifications are essential, or the willingness to attain them. Evidence of leading teams to achieve KPIs with a focus on high-quality further education provision is required.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement both within the college and externally, strong organisational skills, and the ability to self-manage workload. Proficiency in IT, including virtual learning environments, is necessary. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to meet curriculum demands is also required.
