An exciting opportunity for a Chemicals Regulatory professional who is looking for a broad role involving management of regulatory projects for industrial chemicals (REACH) along with strategic and commercial activities to develop company processes, systems, and online/social media presence.
Technical aspects of the role will involve all aspects of industrial chemical regulatory projects including regulatory advice, regulatory strategies, data reviews, study placement and monitoring, study summaries, management of experts, dossier preparation, and submission. Work will have a REACH and CLP focus but is likely to cover other regulations.
The strategic and commercial aspects will include development of technical marketing content and the company’s online profile including website, blogs, and social media. We’re not looking for an IT expert, but rather someone with general knowledge who can develop the strategy and specify work to IT consultants.
We are looking for a chemical regulatory professional with experience and strong knowledge of chemical regulations (REACH – EU and UK) and understanding of the procedures to compliantly market chemical substances and products. You must have strong technical knowledge along with confident communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be looking for an opportunity to utilize a broad skill set – regulatory, project management, and strategic commercial development. A degree/higher degree qualification with a proven track record in industry, consultancy, or competent authority managing the delivery of industrial chemical regulatory projects is required.
