Our Belfast based client is an international, award winning, innovative technology leader. Continued success has created the need to recruit an experienced HR/Talent Operations Manager to support the Talent Operations function as they continue to grow.

This is an exciting, new permanent Senior HR Management job, reporting to the Director of Talent and interfacing with senior stakeholders (C Suite and International leaders).

This is a critical role in leading the talent team and ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence, employee experience and employee relations.

The Role

  • Design and implement the Talent Operations strategy
  • Facilitate the accurate and efficient delivery of HR services throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Cultivate relevant external partnerships and build strong relationships in order to contribute to, and support, national and international projects
  • Lead the annual salary and bonus review process for 2 jurisdictions, including conducting salary benchmarking surveys
  • Manage and oversee all employee relations
  • Communicate with senior leadership regarding employee relations cases and action plans for resolution
  • Stay informed about legislative changes in Ireland and UK
  • Maintain company policies and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing the employee experience
  • When necessary, design plans and actively participate in restructuring initiatives; including redundancies, TUPE, terminations etc
  • Lead the Talent Support Team, fostering coaching culture that drives high performance
  • Perform line management duties for the team, one-to-one meetings etc

The Person

  • Minimum of 5 years recent relevant senior leadership experience in HR
  • Proven leadership skills and competence in managing people and organisational processes
  • Knowledge and experience in applying UK and ROI employment legislation
  • Experience managing large scale, organisation-wide projects
  • Experience in building strong relationships with customers and business partners
  • Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven track record of delivering results
